| | contemplative | ] | I just made the last entry because that poem has a great amount of significance to me. I use to read it to my sister before she went to sleep when she was very young. It is amazing how quickly life moves.
You start out, going to preschool and not letting go of your parent that drops you off because it is a new and different place, but then you love it as soon as the parent actually does leave. You have to beliefs: One, Mother knows best, and Two, dad is really superman in disguise.
You blink. You are in lower school, only worrying about spelling and your "times tables", still having “recess” and girls have cooties.
Another blink. Middle school is here, well, that is, you are there. It is the... well middle of your schooling. It is the transition from and to a lot of things. Girls all of a sudden don't have cooties. You have real homework to do. More obstacles are presented that seem to make your life more difficult. You begin arguing with your parents. But all the while, you still are having fun, because all you need to worry about is you.
Another blink. High school. The hardest time of anyone’s adolescent life. It is when all of the drama takes place. The boyfriends, the girlfriends, the fights, the parents, the stress. Yet when you look back, you make some of the best memories and friends that you will ever make in your life. It is funny how when you are in high school, you want to graduate, yet on graduation day, you can't help but cry because it is over.
Another Blink. This is my stop. I haven't blinked again yet. But it is college. It is the final transition into life itself. It is when most people meet the love of their life and/or decide what you are going to do with your life. And it is also the time that you say goodbye to your parents, and hello to a beginning of a life.
I'm not totally sure what comes next. But I will say, and i urge you to agree, I am going make sure whatever comes next, is damn good.
So... Be your name Brenna or Bixby or Bray Or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O'Shay, You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So...get on your way! |

| | Anything on Broadway | ] | So this play that I am writing... It is actually really good. I'm getting good feedback on it, and wow... I emailed Stephen Schwartz about it and he actually emailed me back. I mean, it was simply amazing to see "You have new mail from Stephen Schwartz". Oh yeah, and I had to delete the plot summary from myspace and here because I don't have a copyright yet.
Anyways, all is well in the land of UF. Can't wait for the summer... well sort of. Not looking forward to classes, but it should be an interesting summer, nonetheless. That's it for now kiddies, tune in tomorrow, same bat time, same bat place for more of Aaron's Life!.... yeah I'm in a good mood.

My grandparents are not doing well, but they were happy to see my sister and I this weekend. I think, since they don't have a good relationship with my father or uncle, my sister and I are what keep them going. In other words, I need to visit them A LOT more.

For one, my grandparents are not doing so well... and my dad has indicated that they probably won't make it through the summer...
Stuff happened with friends of mine that was a bit upsetting, but its their choice, and whatever makes them both happy is fine with me. There are some things I do not understand but I really don't need to understand them. There are also some things that bother me, but again... I can't do anything about it. I just hope everything happens in the best way possible. I just wish there was more I could do. |

I think I'm going to be able to march this summer which is really good. I need to. Even with everything that the corps went through last year, it is really like a second home to me. I get away from everything, and all summer travel around the country, surrounded by people that love the same things as me, and perform. I never once didn't want to perform, and I will be in drumcorps until my age out year.
It really is the best experience ever. |

Nothing really has happened worth mentioning... Wicked has been the highlight of the last... oh month and a half for me.
Was suppose to go to some parties tonight but it was too much of a hassle. That and the party was going to have over 350 people... yeah, no thank you. So instead, saw "Firewall". Stars an old, but good, Harrison Ford. Kinda predictable, but still very well done.
wait i lied, there is something. Max and I are going to meet Jessica and her friend, Anne, at Disney in three weeks. IT'S GONNA BE GREAT! I cant wait... we can eat on a plate.... and... yeah i'm done. Rhyming doesnt suit me. But thats gonna be awesome. Something good to look forward to in the next month. That and spring break itself.
I'm also performing at the Auditions for the incoming UF freshman... That should be really fun. Yeah I bet you are bored reading this, so i'm done.
( Oh and 'I am What I Am' is one of the most amazing songs in history... Read the lyrics and you'll see why ) |

| | Wicked: Defying Gravity | ] | This weekend was the most amazing weekend I have had in a long time. Minus my mom going insane on me saturday, I haven't had that much fun, since before i moved to gainesville. Wicked was amazing, and what was even more amazing was that I saw it with my best friends. I have to admit, I was not sure if everything was going to work out this weekend... But it did. I saw it with Erica, who came down from UF with me, Kayla, and Chelsey. Erica stayed with me at my dads house, and it was really awesome. I haven't laughed so much in a weekend in a while. We went swimming in my dad's pool, and went around miami for a day.
Saturday night: We went to go pick up Kayla and Chelsey, (i'm not going to get into what my mom did... it was just too good of a weekend for her to ruin) and then went to Rotelli's and then to Wicked. We had AMAZING seats. The guy that told us where to go said "wow... those are perfect seats!" and then showed us. We were on the second level, the mezzanine, and almost dead center. The view was SPECTACULAR. The whole play was astounding, even though they had to switch the main role before it started for some reason, but the girl who did it was still just... well i can't begin to describe how amazing she was.
After the performance, we went to the stage door and got EVERY main actors autograph. We even took pictures with them. It was awesome. There were most that actually came out and talked to us. One asked me what I wanted to be, and i said "I am the future pupil of Stephen Swartz (the musical and lyrical writer of Wicked). He just doesn't know it yet." and he said "That is awesome, what is your name?" I said "Aaron Safer" and he said "Aaron Safer, i will see you in five years, when your play is being premiered."
Then on the way back to my car, we were in the elevator and a guy got in with us. I knew that he had been in the show, but before i could say anything he said "did you enjoy the show?" and we all said "YEAH!" and i asked "weren't you in it?" and he said "I played Boq" (who is one of the main characters) and we all whipped out our playbills and he signed them. He even talked to us about his career, and when i told him that I will be a broadway director, he said "never let go of that dream. When i was your age, it was my dream to be on broadway performing, and i never quit. And as you can very well see, i made it. And so can you." Then he got left the elevator. A perfect ending to a perfect night. A night I will never, ever forget. |

| | WICKED: Defying Gravity | ] | Recap of this weekend:
Friday night- On the way back to boca on the bus from Gainesville, there was a traffic backup, that made up two hours late for getting home. It turned out a HUGE truck tipped over and exploded, along with a van... and when I say exploded, I mean there was nothing left of this truck except the frame. It was kind of scary to see such a wreck, and I hope not too many people were injured/killed.
Saturday- AWESOME afternoon. I went to lunch with a group of friends and took many pictures and had LOTS of fun. It was WONDERFUL. Saturday night sucked... my mom and I had one of our biggest arguments ever, but she tried to make up for it by taking me and my sister to The Melting Pot... I have to say, it was pretty damn good food.
Sunday- My dad came and took me out for the day. I bought all that I needed for my dorm, and then went to the bus. The bus trip back was quick.
This weekend: SATURDAY IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!! WOOOO HOOO!!!!! FIVE DAYS AWAY!!!!! |

Have you ever seen the movie called "Simon Birch"? Its amazing. Its about a boy born with dwarfism that is rejected by society. I am still in the middle of it so I don't know what happens in the end... but if i did i wouldn't say haha, you have to see it.
Anyways, I'M GOING HOME TODAY!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! I'm so excited. It is about freakin' time. For the past two weekends it didnt work out, but finally, today I will be on that bus going home. Tomorrow I get to see all my friends in Boca and even some from miami at the competition. This week was VERY hectic, but it all worked out in the end. I met someone online, and have become really good friends with her recently. Her name is Jessica and she is going here next year. I FINALLY get to meet her next friday. I'm excited! Next year is gonna be awesome!
Life is good.
PS: ONE WEEK!!!!!!!! OH YEAH!!!!!
